Europe is preparing a mission to the moon by 2017-2018

ESA, the European Space Agency is preparing a mission to the Moon to be achieved by 2017/2018. To make known, on the sidelines of a press conference held in Cape Canaveral, Simona Di Pippo, ESA's director of human spaceflight European Space Agency.
The mission would expect that it is preparing the launch aboard a Soyuz rocket from Kourou, a "Lunar Lander". The cost of the mission is now estimated at around 500 million Euros. For now, the countries involved in the mission (currently still in the study phase), so they got funding for 21 million euro, Germany and Portugal.
